Future generation of India would now get to learn about corruption at a young age. In a major embarrassment to the Congress party an article written by its general secretary, Rahul Gandhi has found its way to the once popular children’s magazine Champak.
The article deals with the hot topic of corruption. It shows how a baby lion named “Leo baby” takes the initiative to remove corruption from the jungle.
Rahul had written this article after Anna Hazare started his fast against corruption. It was supposed to be published in the party’s newsletter, but somehow it got leaked to the publishers of Champak.
However, Congress leader Digvijay Singh comes to the rescue of ‘Rahul Baba’. He alleged that the publishers of Champak have clear leftist leaning. It is a conspiracy to deride ‘Rahul Baba’ and that’s why they have stooped to such cheap tactics.
Digvijay suspected the hands of communist leaders behind this “conspiracy”. This is because the communist leader, V S Achuthanandan lampoons Rahul as “Amul baby” which is quite similar to the name “Leo baby”, a character in the article.
He further claimed that this article has not been written by “Rahul Baba”. He said that the publishers have written it themselves to push up the sales of their magazine. He added that they would soon file a case against the publishers.
However, Singh was hesitant to comment over the possibility of Champak being banned in a few states by the government.
